APC gains Kingsley Makikan as he dumps PDP -Nujicnewsvine.com.ng-

At a large political gathering a dependable ally of Senator Dino Malaye -former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship flag bearer in November 11 2023 election in Kogi State - Mr. Kingsley Makikan has dumped the PDP with thousands of his supporters to pitch camp with the All Progressive Congress (APC).

 The ceremony took place at Aiyetoro Kiri Bunu, in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area (LGA) in Western Senatorial District of the State, in the presence of Ward, Local Government party Executives and strong APC chieftains on Friday.
 
Speaking  on behalf of Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Secretary to the Government of State (SGS) Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade, Ph.D applauded the decision taken by Mr. Kingsley and followers to join the ruling party as a  welcomed development, great gain and a huge loss for the main opposition.
The SGS described the new entrant as a person of great courage, grassroot mobilizer, strategist and man of the people.

She assured them of the party's openness, acceptance without bias and a level playing ground  to display  know-how.

During  the event, Mrs. Ayoade emphasized that  Mr. Kingsley's ability to mobilize  and project government policies and programmes to the people shall not go unrewarded.

She praised party loyalists and chieftains from Bunu for the role they played in winning over the new entrants 
to APC.

In his acceptance address, Mr. Kingsley Mokikan said he has decided to join the APC due to the purposeful, people's oriented leadership style of Governor Usman Ododo.

He disclosed that he will work with the existing leadership of the party to further strengthen, unite and position the APC to whether any political storm in Bunu axis, LGAs and the State at large.

 In the midst of party chieftains present at the occasion include the State Security Adviser to the Executive Governor, Commodore Jerry Omodara Rtd, Commissioner for Education, Hon Wemi Jones, APC National Deputy Publicity Secretary, Hon. Duro Meseko, Member Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Seyi Bello and the Caretaker Chairman, Kabba-Bunu LGA, Barr. Zaacchaeus Dare Micheal.
