In a  statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Mrs.Folashade Arike Ayoade, Ph.D on Tuesday in Lokoja, says Gov Ahmed Usman Ododo has approved the appointment of  Ibrahim Sunday Abdwaaris as the Chairman Kogi State Electricity Regulatory Commission.

Also approved by the Governor is the appointment ofTaufiq A. Isah as the Director General, Kogi State Utility and Infrastructure Management and Compliance Agency.

 To assist the Director General in his task are Suleiman Onimisi Abdulazeez who is to serve as External Member.

Others include, Agada Paul and Bebeyi Olayinka Emmanuel, who are to serve as External Members as well.

The Statement added that the governor also re-appointed Ehinoyi Sunday Joshua Esq. as the Director General, Bereau of Public procurement with effect from 12th August, 2024.

The Governor in his approval, elevated the position of Hon. Onimisi  M. Itopa from being the Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to the Governor on Political Strategy and Grassroots Sensitization to Special Adviser (SA) on Political Strategy and Grassroots Sensitization.

Accordingly, Mrs. Ayoade stated that  while the Governor approved the redeployment of  Usman Inya Aishat, Senior Special Assistant (SSA), to the governor on Women Affairs to Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Social Welfare,  Mohammed Awwal Danjuma, the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Creative Arts has been replaced with  Hon. Jatto Onimisi Suleiman.

The Statement said the Governor has congratulated the appointees and wished them well in the service to Kogi State.

All appointments are with immediate effect.
