Corps members deployed to Kogi State have been charged to shun any act of indiscipline during and after their service year.
Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo gave the charge in a message during the swearing in ceremony of the 2024 Batch 'B" Stream One deployed to the state at the National Youth Service Corps Orientation Camp Asaya,Kabba.

The Governor who was represented by the Director of Youths, Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Mallam Abubakar Abdullahi advised the Corps Members to display examplary character and shun acts of indiscipline.
Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo advised them to pay attention to the NYSC lnitiative in Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme, designed to prepare them for self reliance after their service year.
The Governor called on the security agencies in the state and in the neighborhood of the camp to ensure adequate security of the Corps Members during their orientation and service.

Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo congratulated the Corps Members for their successful completion of their various academic Programmes which qualified them to participate in the National Assignment and charged them to obey the rules and regulations of the camp.
The Governor while declaring the 2024 Batch B Stream One orientation course Open assured them of the hospitality of the people of the state and their safety.
Speaking, the Kogi State Coordinator of the NYSC Mr. Femi Osungbobun advised the Corps Members to comply with the rules and regulations of the camp and participate in in all activities.
Mr.Femi Osungbobun warned them to avoid unnecessary outing during the orientation course and thanked the State Government for their cooporation and support to the NYSC in the state.
