Gov. Usman Ododo has sworn- in ten newly appointed Judges for High Court,  Customary Court of Appeal and Kadis of Sharia Court of Appeal with a charge to uphold the rule of law, be fair minded and just.     
              
 The ceremony was performed at the Muhammadu Buhari Square, Lokoja on Wednesday.                                                                                        
The newly sworn-in include four High Court Judges namely:                            Ajesola Joseph Sunday Esq,  Ojoma Racheal Haruna Esq. ,Badama Kadiri  Esq and Ezema Beatrice Ada Esq.                       

 Kadis of the Sharia Court of Appeal are: Muhammed Bello Muhammed, Okino Isah Saidu Esq, Yakubu Adavenge Abbas Esq, Shaibu Ridwan Aliyu Esq. and Idris Alhaji Abdullahi Esq..   

The Customary Court of Appeal has Maryam Oziohu Otaru as the new Judge.       
The Gov reminded the new Judges, Kadis of the critical position they have been sworn -in to occupy as  that which balances between the three arms of government and also that which provides hope for the common man.

He urged them to dispense justice without fair or favour even as he promises not to interfere in the dispensation of Justice.

The Executive Governor provided brand new Toyota Corolla Cross to ease mobility and comfort for the newly sworn- in. 

During the event, the Chief Judge of the State, Hon. Justice Josiah Majebi cautioned the new Judges and Kadis to stick strictly by the rules of the game and uphold the integrity of self and  the State at all times.

The Secretary to the Government of Kogi State (SGS), Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade,  Ph.D read the citation   and presented the Judges and Kadis to the audience for swearing in at the ceremony.
