In a ceremony held at the Ministry of Information and Communication, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo, the Commissioner for Information and Communication, presented awards to outstanding staff in the state's information sector. The award aims to motivate state information officers to excel in their duties.
The award which was tagged as tGov. Ododo Award of Excellence showcased Mr. Abah Benjamin Eneojoh, Head of the Information Unit at the Kogi State Ministry of Works, as the 3rd top performer, receiving the best 3rd prize. Mrs Dorothy Onoja came second, while Mr.Taiye Bayode took the first position.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Information and Communication, was graced by the Hon. Commissioner, Hon. Kinsley Fanwo, Acting Permanent Secretary, all the Directors, all the State Information Officers and other staff of the Ministry celebrating the achievements of the state's information officers.
Hon. Fanwo praised the awardees, saying, "Your hard work and dedication have earned you this recognition. Keep striving for excellence!"
He further said that he would recalibrate information strategies in order to produce a topnotch system in the information sector
Abah Benjamin Eneojoh expressed gratitude, saying, "This award motivates me to continue serving the state with passion and dedication."
The ceremony aimed to boost the morale of state information officers, encouraging them to strive for excellence in their duties.
