 WELCOME SPEECHBY THE DIRECTOR DIVINE EXCELLENCE DYNAMIC ACADEMY ON THE OCCASION OF 2023/2024 GRADUATION/END OF SESSION/PRIZE AWARDS CEREMONY HELD IN THE SCHOOL PREMISES, LOKOJA TODAY AUGUST 3, 2024 

Lokoja, Nigeria 

It’s a beautiful day full of admiration, joy and gladness. Here we are this day to celebrate a milestone in our years of collective efforts of hard work; the actualization of goals attained, and the acknowledgement of successes achieved. So, we are proud to commemorate the path that we have all trod together these last few years as pupils, parents/guardian, graduands, teachers, administrators and stakeholders.  

Just as a lizard will nod its head in self-gratitude when it leaps forwards, we all deserve several rounds of applause.

The Chairman/Chairperson for this occasion, Father and Mother of the day, Spiritual Fathers, PTA Chairman, Honoured Guests, esteemed Parents here present, our dedicated Staff Members, today’s Graduands, Students, Pupils, Ladies and Gentlemen.

With unspeakable joy in my heart this day, I stand here to say a warm welcome to you all as we celebrate our graduating, outstanding academic performers and all pupils and students on this 2023/2024 End of Session, Graduation and Prize Awards Ceremony of our beloved school.  It is a great privilege afforded us by the Most Gracious and Almighty God to witness this celebration that marks the end of this session.  At this point, can we all stand to say a word of appreciation to almighty God in our native languages. May He continually preserve us to celebrate more in better years to come (Amen). 

In Henry Ford’s words, "coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress and working together is success." As we look back over the last few years, certainly there was a beginning, and thankfully there has been remarkable progress and yes – undeniably by the grace and mercies of the Almighty God, we have been steadfast, resolute and determined in our collective quest. We have faced some incredible and memorable moments - moments that we chose to use as stepping stones as we tenaciously pursue our common goals of laying a solid and sustainable foundation for greatness in the life of our jewels that God has committed into our hands.

An outstanding result, Ladies and Gentlemen of our coming together, keeping together and working together, despite the obstacles that we have faced along the way is the Graduating Class of 2024. How proud we are of the success that these pupils have made with the opportunities that they were afforded. Congratulations, we are proud of you all!

To our excellent graduants and outstanding performers we are celebrating today, I implore you to continually commit to the path of excellence in all you do by hard work, consistency, dogged determination and burning desire to succeed and always be above board.  Please note that before you are several milestones as well as great and rewarding future. Your years should be characterized by empathy, compassion, objectivity and a willingness to take calculated positive risks and most importantly God’s guidance. May God accompany your life journey with goodness, favour and mercy.

We are glad to share with you our honoured guests, that this school with the support of God almighty, parents and tutors, we were honoured with an award in the last 2024 Kogi State Education Merit Award ceremony which held at NUJ hall on 29th March 2024 in company of our amiable PTA Chairman and few parents.  

We sincerely appreciate everyone who has been part and contributing to the growth and development of this school, especially our esteemed parents who has stayed with us over the years regardless of several challenges.  We also like to give kudos to all parents for their tenacity, determination and cooperation displayed in this challenging academic year despite the economic situation of Nigeria. May God stand by you and continually sustain us all (Amen).  

Compared to where God is taking Divine Excellence Dynamic Academy, we are just beginning, so we seek the understanding and support of all as we continue to grow steadily on all sides as God lead us into greatness. 

To make a faster progress in the provision of better facilities, we implore our dear parents to kindly do better in prompt payment of tuition and other fees.  We also solicit cheerful donations from our esteemed guests and well-wishers and members of this community.

With heartfelt gratitude, we appreciate your sacrifices for making today colourful, and more importantly, your presence.
