Chief Servant Commissions Remodel SGS Office Block - Nujicnewsvine.com.ng-

In line with Kogi State Development Plan 2024-2056 of "Shared Hope And Prosperity" and the pledged by the Chief Servant of the State, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to " lift Kogi State to a higher level of performance and success", this promise was demonstrated at the commissioning of the renovated office block of the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State in  Lokoja on Wednesday, November, 2024.

Before the renovation, the office lost its glow and wore a saggy look with the white paint turned brown due to batter by harsh Lokoja weather. 

 In view of it's strategic importance to the State Government, on assumption of duty as the No- 1 Chief Servant of the State,  the governor sprang to action and awarded the contract to Ridge Prime Limited for complete remodeling of the office block in April 2024. 

No doubt, the renovation was painstakingly carried out to taste, painted exterior white with interior off- white and fitted with new furniture.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony, the Governor said civil servants deserve  conducive working environment to be productive and maximize service delivery.

He said the remodeling is part of the plan to alleviate the standard of work place environment in the state. 

Governor Ododo said regular and timely payment of monthly salary is a  pointer to 
Government deep desire to uplift the standards of the workforce.

The Governor praised the State leader, Alhaji Yahaya Bello  CON for his vision to place Kogi State on the part of development. 

The Servant leader also thanked the SGS for her hard work, patience and loyalty  thus far in service to the state.

Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade, Ph.D,  Secretary to the Government of Kogi State (SGS) thanked the Governor for carving out  time to Commission the renovated office complex. 

The event was witnessed  by  the  State Executive Council Members, top notch Political Office Holders, Civil Servants and the general public.
