Kogi SGS celebrates retired staff, award six for outstanding performance -Nujocnewsvine.com.ng

 Staff of the Office of the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, gathered in festive mood on Wednesday at the office complex, to send forth three retirees, rewards six outstanding for exemplary service rendered and specially to thank the Almighty God for the gift of life, mercies, guidance and protection in the year 2024.  

Speaking during the presentation of assorted gift items to the retirees at the End-Of-The-Year- Get- Together, Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade, Ph.D, Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, (SGS) admonished all staff to work hard, be diligent and dedicated to service of the State Government.

She said the SGS office is strategic to the government and such cannot afford to fail, hence urged all staff to redouble their efforts in the coming year.

According to the SGS,”reward for hard work is more work and heaven never fails to bless hard work, dedication and loyalty”.

Mrs. Folashade commended the retired Permanent Secretary, Cabinet & Special Services, Barrister Sule Katu Abdullahi for his professional conduct while in office as she praised Mrs.Obalola Catherine Ibiyemi and Mr. Abdul Peter for meritorious service rendered to the state.

Mrs. Ibrahim A. Rachael; Mr. Aliu Adebayo; Mr. Sevele Silas; Mall Ahmed Bala Suleiman, Mall. Abdulakeem Adeagbo and Mrs. Kayode Sherifat were appreciated by the Management for their exemplary service in the outgoing year.

The awardees were presented with cash and customized Plaque as token of appreciation for their service.

Good will messages were given by the Director General, Kogi State Commodity Exchange, Export Promotion & Market Development Agency, Hon. Victor Omofaiye Adewale, Director General, Radio Kogi, Hajia Yussuf Nana Hauwa,  Chairman , Kogi State Hotels & Tourism Board, Hajia Bilikisu Ogueyi.

 Others include;  the Permanent Secretary,  Administration, Mr. Benjamin Ajodo; Permanent Secretary , Cabinet & Special Services, Mr. Momoh Aziz Steven and the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Administration attached to the Office of the SGS, Mr.  Emphraim Amurawaiye  all poured encomiums on the SGS for her dedication to duty and consistency in bringing the staff together for an annual celebration.
