One Year in Office: Kogi Works Commissioner Hon (Engr) Mohammed Yusuf Celebrated

It was a beautiful scene to behold as the Staff of the Ministry of Works rolled out the drums to celebrate the one year in office of Engr Mohammed Ahovi Yusuf, the State Commissioner for Works on Friday in Lokoja.
The event which was organized by the Management and Staff of the Ministry was laden with prayers and appreciation for the fruitful one year in office.
Leading the goodwill messages, the Permanent Secretary Engr Audu Emmanuel thanked the Hon Commissioner for his exemplary leadership which has made Ministry to deliver quality jobs to the State.
He noted that his experience and hard work are instrumentals to the Ministry's meeting up with the targets and also delivering quality infrastructures to the people of the State.
Speaking on behalf of the Staff, the Director Civil Engineering, Engr Sunday Baba applauded the commissioner for the remarkable achievements during his time in office, emphasizing that during his one year in office high quality infrastructures have been done and delivered for the use of the people of the State.
He stated that the Zone 8 – crusher dual carriage way, the Barracks - Zango to GYB, Junction Dual carriage way would serve as a living proof of his quest for quality Jobs.
Engr. Baba who promised the loyalty of the staff to the administration of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo advised that the state should construct other routes to avoid unnecessary traffic on the roads.
In his response, the Commissioner Engr. Mohammed Ahovi Yusuf appreciated the love and affection showered on him, promising that he will continue to do his best to serve the Ministry and the State at large.
He stated that the Ministry under his supervision was ready to deliver quality projects that would stand the test of time. assuring that he would work hand in hand with the Staff to achieve positive results.
The Commissioner thanked the State Governor for given him the opportunity to serve and called on the people to give their maximum support to the Governor to enable him delivered on his campaign promises.
Islamic and Christian Prayers were conducted for divine direction for a successful tenure of the Governor and the Hon. Commissioner.
