The State Commissioner for Education. Honorable Wemi Jones has advised the Staff of the Ministry to live an Impactful life style in their services to God and humanity.
Honorable Jones gave the advice at a valedictory meeting held on Friday with the Management Staff in honor of the outgoing Permanent Secretary Dr. Jibrin Saidu Alhaji who has retired from Service after 35 years in service to the State.
The commissioner who commended the Permanent Secretary for his work ethics and leadership skills urged the staff to emulate him.
He stated that the outgoing Permanent Secretary within the short time he has spent in the Ministry has made an indelible mark that would be remembered by the Ministry and the Staff.
He called on them to cultivate the attitude of Service to God and humanity, noting that human beings can only be remembered by the impacts they have made in the lives of the people.
He requested the Management Staff to give the Acting Permanent Secretary the maximum support to pilot the affairs of the Ministry until a Permanent Secretary is appointed for the Ministry.
In his address, the outgoing Permanent Secretary Dr. Jibrin Saidu Alhaji who expressed his gratitude to the Almighty Allah for spearing his life to see the day thanked the Honorable Commissioner and the Staff of the Ministry for their cooperation, unity, loyalty and commitment to duties.
He called for collaboration and support for the Acting Permanent Secretary to drive the Ministry forward.
Speaking, the Acting Permanent Secretary, the Director Administration, Mrs. Omolayo Berikisu Onasare called for synergy and cooperation from all the Staff of the Ministry in order to achieve the Ministry's goals.

She thanked the outgoing Permanent Secretary for the service he rendered to the state and the Ministry, saying that his short stay in the Ministry has been an Impactful one and prayed that God would be with him as he entered into the next phase of his life.
Prayers were made by the Directors to God for his good health, God's protection and preservation as he retired from Service.
