Eid-Maulud 2025: Kogi Deputy Gov Felicitates Muslims
The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Comrade Joel Salifu, has felicitated with Muslims across the state and Nigeria on the occasion of this year’s Eid-Maulud celebration.
In a statement made available to the public through his Press Secretary, Mr. Unubi Emmanuel, the Deputy Governor urged the Muslim faithful to use the period to reflect on the exemplary life, teachings, and virtues of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), which emphasize peace, love, tolerance, humility, and compassion.
He further called for prayers for continued unity, peace, and progress in Kogi State and Nigeria, assuring that the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo remains committed to good governance, inclusiveness, and the welfare of all citizens.
Comrade Joel Salifu wished all Muslims a joyous and hitch-free celebration while encouraging them to continue to uphold values that strengthen communal harmony and national development.
