Golden Jubilee Celebration: A Tribute to Pastor Friday Onoja Victor Adikwu
Today, we gather to celebrate a remarkable milestone in the life of Pastor Friday Onoja Victor Adikwu, fondly shortened as FOVA. Fifty years of life, love, laughter, and legacy! This golden jubilee celebration is but a function of God's gift of life and His enduring favor on Pastor Adikwu's life. And hence, the celebration is marked by hours of high praise and deep thanksgiving.
As we reflect on FOVA's life trajectory, from the famous St Francis Boys Secondary school, Otukpo , to the prestigeous Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, for his first degree, and later to the University of Abuja for his Master's and Phd. He is an erudite scholar in the field of Economics. And beyond that FOVA is well read in the field Christian ministry and neck deep in pastoral service at Redeemed Christian church of God where he has risen through the ranks to become the Zonal Pastor of ......zone presently. If you ever know FOVA you can't but acknowledge his exceptional qualities: Friendly, Open, Virtuous, and Available ( FOVA). The hallmark of his life : humanity, dignity, honor, and sincere concern for mankind have made him a beloved personality in his family , church, community and to all who cross paths with him.
As an economist by training and a pastor by calling, FOVA has demonstrated remarkable leadership and wisdom, and stands out in a way that can't be expressed by words. His humility, love, dedication, and integrity have earned him the respect and admiration of many of us.
On this special day, we celebrate not only Pastor Adikwu's life but also his impact on those around him. I , for one , am a beneficiary. His joy in others' success and pleasure in seeing others climb up have left an indelible impression on his friends, family and all. I'm a beneficiary of this !
