The Kogi State Scholarship Board has launched the 2024/2025 Students Bursary Registration for under graduates and law school students of Kogi origin in higher institutions across the country.
The application portal for registration and upload of relevant documents and provision of bank account details for disbursement of Bursary Allowance commenced on Monday September, 29th 2025 and would end on October 31st, 2025.
The Commencement of verification of students identities and enrollment status with the institutions by the consultant would come up on November 3rd, 2025, while the disbursement of Bursary Allowance to verified students would start on January 26th, 2026.

Declaring the Registration Portal opened at a press Conference in Lokoja on Monday, the State Commissioner for Education Honorable Wemi Jones reiterated the commitment of the State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo to the welfare of the students of Kogi State origin in higher Institutions in the country.
He stated that the State Government would ensure a seamless registration and called on the Students Union bodies to sensitize their members on how to apply to ensure a hitch free exercise, noting that the lapses encountered in season one should be addressed to ensure more registration.
Speaking, the Executive Chairman Kogi State Scholarship Board, Mr. Afolabi Raji said that the State Government would continue to ensure that all students of Kogi State origin in higher Institutions across the country benefited from the Bursary Allowance and called on the students union bodies to sensitize and educate their members on how to register.
