BARR. TANKO COMMENDS GOVERNOR ODODO FOR PROMOTIONS CASH BACKING.

The Executive Chairman, Kogi State Civil Service Commission, Hon.(Barr) Muhammed Tanko has commended His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usmam ODODO for his proactive and humane disposition towards civil servants in the State. He noted that the implementation of the promotion benefits to civil servants in the State was the right step in the right direction. 

While addressing the staff of the Commission recently, Hon. TANKO described the mood of the Civil Servants as 'exuberant' and ' joyful' , according to him, the atmosphere was amazing, with workers beaming with joy and gratitude to the Governor for prioritizing their welfare.

"Today, we celebrate a major milestone in an effort to improve the welfare of the civil servants. The Governor's decision to put smile on the faces of the civil servants is a testament to his unique style of leadership and commitment to the welbeig of the workers, " he said.

The Chairman urged the Civil Servants to reciprocate this kind gesture of His Excellency by working hard with absolute dedication to their duties.

Special Advicer to the Governor on Civil Service Matters, Hon.Tade Adeyemi thanked the Governor for his commitment to the affairs of Civil Servants, he urged workers to see this as an opportunity to redouble their efforts for excellence in their duties.

The Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Mr Shaibu Fabian speaking, expressed gratitude to the Governor on behalf of the Staff of the Commission, he described the Governor as the Chief Servant indeed, noting that gesture goes beyond increment in the the salaries but a sign of a renewed hope in the management of the State affairs. 

Pastor Joel Sunday, a staff of the Commission, speaking on behalf of his colleagues equally commended the Governor's commitment to their welfare, noting that, the gesture is a huge morale booster to the entire workforce across the state.
