Kogi Drug Agency Reaffirms Commitment to Steady Supply of Medicines
The Kogi State Drugs and Medical Supplies Management Agency (KSDMSMA) has reaffirmed its dedication to maintaining an uninterrupted supply of high-quality drugs and medical consumables to all public health facilities throughout the state. The Agency emphasized that the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Kogi State Government and pharmaceutical manufacturers remains active and continues to deliver positive outcomes for the state's healthcare sector.
In recognition of this ongoing partnership, the North Central Regional Manager of Fidson Healthcare Plc, representing the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Executive Secretary of the Agency. The management team warmly received the delegation, and discussions centered on strengthening collaboration and exploring strategies to further enhance drug availability and healthcare service delivery in Kogi State.
During the engagement, the Agency’s management presented a souvenir to the Fidson delegation, underscoring the significant achievements of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, over two years of transformative leadership in the health sector. The Fidson Plc team expressed gratitude for the recognition and reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the Agency’s mandate of ensuring a steady and reliable supply of drugs and other essential health products to public health facilities in the state.
