The National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) has been told to empress on their members to register early for all Internal Examinations and to forward details of wards to the Ministry of Education for effective planning of the Examinations.
The Director Examination Admission and Certification Ministry of Education Mrs. Egbeneye Grace made this known while monitoring the conduct of 2024 Common Entrance Examination in some schools in Lokoja.
She stated that late registration and no submission of their wards details affected proper planning of the Examinations saying some private schools registered late while some did not upload their wards data on the website making it difficult for the Ministry to know the actual number of their students.
Addressing Students at Saint Mary Primary and Holy Trinity Nursery Primary School Lokoja the Director called on them to be focused and shun Examination Malpractices, saying that with focus and hard work there would excel in their chosen career.
Mrs. Egbeneye appreciated the state Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for providing enabling environment for the peaceful Conduct of the Examination, saying the free registeration of the Examination for students in Public Schools, has helped in taken the financial burden of the Examination fees off the Parents.
The 2024 Common Entrance Examination took place in all the Centers across the State with reports indicating success.
