Primary School Pupils Urges to Lay Good Foundation for their Education.

Primary School Pupils in Kogi State have been advised to lay a good foundation for their Education by not indulging in Examination Malpractices.

The Director Examination Admission and Certification, Ministry of Education Mrs. Egbeneye Grace gave the advice while monitoring the conduct of 2024 Basic Six Examination in some schools in Lokoja the State Capital.

She disclosed that building a solid foundation through focus and hard work is the only way for a brighter future, saying that there is no short cut to success but hard work and perseverance.

The Director enjoined parents to leverage on the Kogi State Government Free Education Policy to enroll their wards in schools.

Mrs  Egbeneye who commended the State Government for the payment of all Internal Examinations Fees for Students in Public Schools said the policy has taken off the financial burden of the payment of the Examinations Fees from parents.

In Bishop  Crowther LGEA Primary 2 and Saint Mary Primary School Lokoja, Mrs. Halimat Idris and Mrs. Mudi Layi, School Teachers, described the Conduct of the Examination as Smooth, orderly and peaceful.

They commended the State Government for the free Education Policy saying it has helped a lot of students who might not have money to pay for the Examinations.

Schools visited were Holy Trinity school, Saint Mary Nursery Primary School and Bishop Crowther LGEA 2 Primary School in Lokoja.
