Kogi SGS Assures Staff of Government's Readiness for Training and Retraining

The Kogi State Government is taking proactive steps to enhance the capacity of its personnel. Just a while ago, the Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, Pastor (Mrs.) Folashade Arike Ayoade, Ph.D, declared open a one-day in-house seminar for Clerical and Registry Staff  of her office.

 The seminar aimed to sharpen their service delivery skills, got the government assured staff of its readiness for training and retraining.
According to Mrs. Ayoade, the" Chief Servant of the State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, is committed to exposing personnel to training and retraining programs. This initiative will not only enhance staff capacity but also keep them updated on effective and efficient service delivery".

While commending the Registry Staff for good conduct, the SGS has also emphasized the importance of upholding the oath of secrecy, warning that any breach will be met with severe punishment.
 She said, to ensure the participants' engagement, an examination will be set, and the outcome will determine those selected for further training at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON).

The SGS emphasized the benefits of hard work, dedication and loyalty to constituted authority saying it never goes unrewarded.
