A City Mourns: Farewell to a Burden Bearer, Mr. Friday Isah Ekpa (Fari)
Today, the city of Ofabo in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State wore a somber cloak, as the community gathered to bid a final farewell to a beloved son, Mr. Friday Isah Ekpa popularly known as Fari. The atmosphere was heavy with grief, as the morgue parade proceeded.

As the funeral procession made its way through the streets, the city came to a standstill. Shops were closed, and the usual hustle and bustle ceased, as the community paid their respects to a man who had touched so many lives. The silence was palpable, punctuated only by the sound of muffled sobs and the rustling of leaves in the gentle breeze.

The people of Ofabo and beyond gathered at the graveside, their faces etched with sorrow, as they said their final goodbyes. The eulogies poured in, as friends, family, and acquaintances shared stories of Mr. Ekpa's kindness, generosity, and infectious smile. His legacy was celebrated, and his memory was honored, as the community came together to mourn the loss of a shining star.

As the earth received Mr. Ekpa's mortal remains, the heavens seemed to weep in solidarity, casting a grey mist over the city. The trees stood tall, their branches swaying gently, as if in reverence to the departed soul. The wind whispered secrets to the flowers, which bloomed in vibrant colors, a credit to the beauty and vibrancy of Mr. Ekpa's life.

Today, Ofabo stood still, its heart heavy with grief. But even in death, Mr. Friday Isah Ekpa's spirit will continue to inspire, motivate, and uplift all those who knew him. His memory will live on, a corner stone of hope that was not due but dew cast  earlier than imagination.

I charge the departed soul to be happy, seeing that your students rhyming the rhythm of a dirge to glorify your funeral is enough for you to celebrate the loneliness of the new solitary location.
Tears!
As we can only see you now but in dreams we are pained that the grave took the brave.
Rest in peace, dear Mr. Fari. Your legacy will never be forgotten.
