It was an atmosphere filled with joy, elegance, and heartfelt emotions as the families of Late Rev. Enemali John Agude and the Royal Family of Ujah A. Innocent hosted the beautiful wedding ceremony of their children, Janet and her beloved groom Goodness, on Saturday, November 29, 2025.
In a ceremony that drew dignitaries, friends, and well-wishers from across the country, the Kogi State Government House Press Crew was duly represented by Mr. Abah Benjamin Eneojoh and Mr. Christopher Ajibola, who joined in celebrating the memorable union on behalf of the entire press team.
A Blended Celebration of Faith and Culture
The day began with a solemn and spirit-filled church wedding at Archangel Michael Catholic Church (Police Chaplaincy), Aguiyi-Ironsi Crescent, Maitama, Abuja. Guests gathered promptly at the first wedding Mass as the officiating priests led the couple through holy matrimony marked by prayers, hymns, and touching vows.
The church radiated with the day’s elegant color palette — olive green, burnt orange, and white, adding vibrance to an already heartwarming ceremony.
A Grand Reception of Elegance, the celebration transitioned into a lively and glamorous reception at the Veterinary Council of Nigeria Hall, No. 8 Zambezi Crescent, Off Aguiyi-Ironsi Crescent, behind Merit House, Maitama. A serene and prestigious venue befitting the significance of the day.
Family, friends, and invited guests were treated to a colorful display of culture, soul-lifting music, sumptuous meals, and emotional speeches that highlighted the couple’s journey of love and commitment.
