Atta Igala Crowns Dr. Friday Alfa Abdullahi as “Oga Attah” of Igala Kingdom

The ancient palace of the paramount ruler of the Igala Kingdom, Matthew Alaji Opaluwa Oguche Akpa II, came alive with excitement, culture and celebration as Chief Dr. Friday Alfa Abdullahi was officially crowned with the revered traditional title of “Oga Attah”, amid resounding chants of “Edeeeeeee!” from admirers, well-wishers and palace faithful.

The colourful ceremony, held at the royal palace in Idah, attracted traditional title holders, community leaders, family members, associates and well-wishers from different parts of the country who gathered to witness the historic moment.
Chief Dr. Friday Alfa Abdullahi, a respected professional and accomplished corporate executive, currently serves as Supply Chain Manager with ABB in Lagos. His elevation to the prestigious traditional office is widely seen as recognition of his contributions to community development, leadership, integrity and commitment to the advancement of the Igala nation.

A devoted Christian, family man and proud son of Ofabo in Ogbonicha Ward of Ofu Local Government Area, Chief Abdullahi has continued to distinguish himself in both professional and community service circles, earning admiration across tribal and religious lines.

The conferment of the “Oga Attah” title further adds to his growing list of honours and recognitions, reflecting his influence as a bridge-builder, philanthropist and worthy ambassador of the Igala Kingdom.
